Free course for research staff on qualitative methods

Starting again on Jan. 10, 2024! The Research Staff Training Course is designed for research staff in the health sciences. (It is not appropriate for graduate students, postdocs, junior faculty, or others who may be on track to become PIs.)

From January to April, participants will work through a UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research online self-study course (“Introduction to Qualitative Research for the Applied Health Sciences,” which covers the uses of qualitative research, methodologies, study design, data collection and analysis, ethics and more) and meet either in-person or online every two weeks for project work and group discussions.

If interested in this free course, please contact the instructor directly for more detailed information (Dr. Nora Jacobson, najacobson@wisc.edu).
