Required Course Population Renewal
HIPAA Privacy and Security Training Anyone who is a member of the UW–Madison Health Care Component along with the entire Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine and Public Health. Individuals listed on an IRB protocol involving protected health information are part of the Health Care Component.

Annually (non-rolling).

Human Subjects Protections Course Anyone listed on a UW–Madison human subjects protocol.

Every three years.

Good Clinical Practice Key personnel on studies that meet the NIH definition of a clinical trail that either (1) involve drugs, devices, biological agents, or radioisotopes or (2) are NIH funded.
