Information for Industry Partnerships
Industry-sponsored research at the University of Wisconsin–Madison comprises an important component of our research portfolio. Of the more than $1 billion in annually received research funding, business sponsorship accounts for $34 million. Nevertheless, significant potential for increasing the number and value of industrial partnerships exists. To foster this growth, the university established the Office of Business Engagement. We offer a flexible and individualized approach to establish industry partnerships while upholding the university’s missions related to education, research, and public service.
