Human Participants Research Training
All key personnel listed on a UW–Madison human participants study must complete human participants research training every three years and prior to the approval of IRB submissions. UW–Madison offers human participants research training through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) platform. Within CITI, the UW Biomedical or Social and Behavioral courses along with the Madison VA course satisfy the human subjects training requirement. Training completions can be verified using the CITI Training Lookup. Instructions on how to complete CITI training and link CITI training to your NetID are below.
