Biobased Materials Symposium – Feb. 13

Wisconsin Energy Institute is hosting the Biobased Materials Research Symposium. The event includes a keynote from Doug Cameron, a panel discussion on scaling biobased lab discoveries to the marketplace, student and postdoc flash talks, a poster session, networking opportunities, and free food. Plus, the event is free and open to anyone.

Alzheimer’s Disease Developmental Project Proposals — Deadline for applications is Feb. 27

Request for Proposals: The Developmental Project Award offers up to $120,000 to support feasibility studies targeting Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias research. Application deadline: Feb. 27 by 11:59 p.m. CT. Review application details and timeline: adrc.wisc.edu/developmental-projects

Funding will start in April 2026.

Career development opportunity for pre- and postdocs –Predoctoral applications are due March 13 and postdoctoral applications are due April 1

The UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) announces that the application period for both the predoctoral and postdoctoral TL1 programs is now open.

These programs are aimed at those in the clinical and translational sciences. Visit the funding page of the ICTR website to get complete details about each.

Predoctoral applications are due March 13 and postdoctoral applications are due April 1.
