Graduate students or postdoctoral scholars: Reserve your spot in a Spring 2025 Research Mentor Learning Community–Begins in January 2025
The Delta Program’s Research Mentor Learning Communities for graduate students and postdocs are interactive, case scenario-based seminars designed to help you become the mentor you want to be (now or in the future). Topics include communicating effectively, aligning expectations, and promoting diversity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging. On-line and in-person sections are available, beginning in January.

Data Science Research Bazaar: March 19-20
Showcase your work at the Data Science Research Bazaar, March 19-20 at the Discovery Building! The Research Bazaar welcomes submissions for lightning talks, posters, workshops, and interactive discussions. This year’s theme is AI and ML in Research: Navigating Opportunities and Boundaries. While AI and machine learning will be a key focus, submissions from all areas of data science and computational work are encouraged.

Morgridge Center for Public Service’s Wisconsin Idea Conference: April 7, 2025.
This day-long conference brings together community leaders, academics, service providers, and university staff and students interested in fostering partnerships that advance meaningful impacts within Dane County and across Wisconsin. Conference Registration will open in early January.
The guiding theme for this year’s conference is Exchange. Together, we’ll explore ways to collaborate and effect transformative change in our communities and across the state, map connections across our respective fields, and share ideas and resources.
