Duplication of an Oversubscribed Sciex 6500+ LC-MS/MS Platform to Reduce Turnaround and Accelerate Method Development
Description:
LC-MS/MS (liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry) capacity within Assay Services is now oversubscribed, and to relieve these bottlenecks and maintain reliable service, Assay Services will acquire a duplicate of the current Sciex 6500+ LC-MS/MS platform. The additional instrument will reduce bottlenecks, improve operational resilience, and implement protected method development and validation time while maintaining routine work, ensuring that investigators receive timely, rigorous and reproducible biomarker data needed to execute extramurally funded studies.
Wisconsin National Primate Research Center (WNPRC) Assay Services provide innovative, high quality and cost-effective determinations of steroids, proteins, vitamins, neurotransmitters, immune and biomarkers and other biologically active compounds to facilitate NIH-funded research projects related to translational research.
