Replacement of an Illumina NovaSeq 6000 with a NovaSeq X Plus

Description:

The NovaSeq X Plus DNA sequencer will benefit researchers with expanded capacity and lower consumable costs. Software improvements also allow for better aggregation of dissimilar sample types on a single run, reducing turnaround time and sequencing costs for odd projects. Researchers with moderate sequencing needs can more finely tune their sequencing service requests to get exactly what they need.

The DNA Sequencing Facility provides a full suite of services including DNA preparation and sequencing of whole genomes/exomes,  epigenetic/base modifications, whole metagenomes, plasmids and long amplicons, ancient/environmental DNA, as well as bulk RNA and single cell RNA sequencing in collaboration with the Gene Expression Center.
