An invitation to view the acclaimed documentary, “Picture a Scientist”

From Friday through Sunday, March 12-14, you can view the acclaimed full-length documentary film, “Picture a Scientist,” then participate in a panel discussion with fellow faculty and staff on Monday, March 15.   (There is a panel for undergraduate and graduate students at 4pm on Monday as well.)

The film paints a nuanced, emotional, but unflinching portrait of the struggles diverse women in science have faced, both in the past and today—and it challenges people of all backgrounds and genders to question their own implicit biases and move toward change.  Join faculty, staff and students across UW–Madison, on this important journey of exploration and discovery.
