The 3rd Annual UW–Madison Postdoctoral Research Symposium is Sept. 18

The 3rd Annual UW–Madison Postdoctoral Research Symposium will be on Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 12 to 5:30 pm at the Genetics-Biotech Center. Organized during the National Postdoc Appreciation week, the symposium offers a venue for postdocs to share their work with others and foster new collaborations. This year the symposium will include:

-a data scientist career panel featuring panelists working in both academia and industry

-keynote speaker, Ron Seely, faculty member of the Department of Life Science Communication, who will share how to simplify research findings without sacrificing accuracy.

-the return of the 5-minute Blitz Talk competition.
