New Initiatives: Microbiome Awards and Resources for Researchers

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education announces two initiatives to support researchers at UW–Madison.

Thirteen projects ranging from a better understanding of how gut microbes might influence Alzheimer’s Disease, to examining the impact of daycare on a child’s microbiome and the risk of infection with drug-resistant pathogens, have been selected for funding through the 2017 UW-Madison Microbiome Initiative.

The OVCRGE’s Office of Campus Research Cores also has developed a Directory of Resources for Researchers, including initial data for over 60 cores, 300 resources, and 170 services: https://resources.research.wisc.edu/
