Discounted Registration Opportunity

The Midwest Association of Core Directors (MWACD) Annual Meeting is being held at UW–Madison this year at the historic Memorial Union. MWACD is the regional chapter of ABRF (Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities). You will have the opportunity to network with other core staff from the Midwest, speak to vendors, and listen to inspiring talks. MWACD can be a great opportunity for core professionals, and you can find the detailed schedule and registration here.

Cells in Context: Single Cell & Spatial Transcriptomic Symposium

This symposium aims to bring together researchers, students, and industry professionals to explore the latest innovations, challenges, and future directions in single-cell and spatial transcriptomics.
Our goal is to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and highlight the transformative potential across a wide range of fields, including developmental biology, immunology, neuroscience, cancer research, and regenerative medicine.
WANTED- Grad student 15 min Flash Talks & Poster submissions!
There are two Flash Talk sessions (AM & PM) on Thursday, Sept. 11, and a Poster session that evening during the Networking & Cocktail Reception.

Badger Connect

Hosted by the UW Carbone Cancer Center and UW Biotechnology Center, the BadgerConnect Research Services Fair joins shared resources with industry partners to showcase technologies and research support available to UW-Madison researchers. Learn about innovative technologies and discuss your project with shared resources staff to see how your research can be supported and enhanced. The FREE event includes a keynote lecture, roundtable discussions, instrument demonstrations, and a networking reception, along with pre-recorded flash talks and tutorials posted online – all aimed to foster collaborations and take your research to the next level.
