Animal Transfer: To help protect the health status of our biomedical research facilities housing rodents, most transports between vivaria must be approved in advance by the BRMS/RARC Transfers Office.

Facilities Designation for Rodents: RARC assigns a number designation to all facilities that house rodents.  Designations are based on several factors, including the facility’s known rodent pathogen status, sentinel rodent testing strategy, and quarantine capability/disease response plan.
