Monarch Larva Monitoring Project
Virtual Citizen Science Training
May 7th, 10:00am–3:00pm
Monarch Joint Venture will lead a virtual one-day training about collecting monarch data. Learn about monarch biology, monitoring procedures, and data entry protocols. Monarch biologists will be available for questions. Newcomers and active participants in monarch citizen science projects are welcome. The training includes a one-hour break. Fee: $50. Learn about the land, plants, animals, fungi, phenology, and ecology. Geared for adults, this walk may cover sloping terrain. Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and come prepared for weather and insects. Walks canceled for unsafe conditions. Free, no registration required. Meet at the Visitor Center.
Dairy Symposium
presented by the Dairy Innovation Hub

Dairy Symposium features the Dairy Innovation Hub’s most advanced research from all participating campuses. The Symposium is geared toward an academic audience and anyone who enjoys a deeper dive into research. Attendees will hear thought-provoking plenary sessions, research talks from each of the Hub’s four priority areas, flash talks from students and poster presentations from Hub-funded research. This is an in-person event at Memorial Union, with recordings available after the live event.

Friends of the Arboretum Native Plant Sale
