Replacement of VSWIR Spectrometers for Agricultural, Environmental and Ecological Remote Sensing in the Environmental Spectroscopy (EnSpec) Facility

Description:
The Environmental Spectroscopy (EnSpec) Core will replace their drone and mounted cameras and spectroradiometer used to image vegetation. The improvements will improve image resolution, data collection rate and allow for full visualization of ecosystems.

EnSpec’s research mission is to provide field and laboratory spectroscopy research using state-of-the-art instruments and calibration tools for basic and applied science applications in agriculture, forestry, soil science, geology, physics and more. Their hyperspectral remote sensing systems can map biochemical and physiological status of vegetation in near-real time.
