Image Analysis Software and Hardware Upgrade for the Translational Research Initiatives in Pathology (TRIP) Laboratory
Description:
New artificial intelligence (AI) software will significantly upgrade the image analysis capabilities of the Translational Research Initiatives in Pathology (TRIP) laboratory, which will allow researchers access to novel AI histology software. The new image analysis software has AI capabilities and superior machine learning applications that is necessary for in depth data analysis of spatial biology projects such as histochemical stains, multiplexed/hi-plex protein, RNA and DNA assays, and spatial -omics. It allows analysis of whole slide scans and it is compatible with image formats from most imaging systems on campus.
The TRIP laboratory provides high quality services in cellular, molecular, quantitative and computational pathology and offers histological, histochemical, spatial transcriptomics (GeoMx) and imaging analyses services such as tissue microarray (TMA) creation, imaging of slides, immunohistochemistry (IHC)/in situ hybridization (ISH) and cell line authentication.
