Replacement for Comprehensive Lab Animal Monitoring System Metabolic Chambers for the Diabetes Center Mouse Phenotyping and Surgery Core
Description:
An upgrade to the metabolic chambers and animal monitoring system at the Mouse Phenotyping and Surgery Core will increase data rigor and repeatability for researchers at UW–Madison. The new device will utilize real-time vital stat sensors, increased data collection rates and humidity control, which are all compatible with animal home caging.
The goal of the Mouse Phenotyping and Surgery Core (MPSC) is to provide the UW–Madison Comprehensive Diabetes Center members with access to skilled personnel and equipment for the phenotyping of mouse metabolism and access to skilled surgical staff.
