Second Round of Research Funding from American Family Insurance
American Family Insurance has partnered with UW–Madison through the American Family Insurance Data Science Institute (DSI) to offer multiple mini grants of $75-150K per year. The goal of this American Family Funding Initiative is to stimulate and support cutting-edge, highly innovative and groundbreaking research in the rapidly growing field of data science, including computing and artificial intelligence.
All UW–Madison faculty and staff with PI status are eligible to apply, and funding is available starting fall 2020. The range of topics of interest span the four campus divisions, ranging from behavioral economics to signal processing, data integration, fraud analytics and more.
