Core Resource Grant Acknowledgement Workshop NOTES

Encourage appropriate acknowledgement of your core facility or resource

The Office of Campus Research Cores, Research Data Services, and UW-Madison Libraries provided a workshop to assist in the appropriate acknowledgement of research cores and their associated grants.  Research core and shared facility managers need reliable measures of impact to report to funders and improve UW-Madison competitiveness for future grants.  Attendees offered best-practice suggestions and created plans to maximize the likelihood that researchers will adequately acknowledge cores in their publications.
