Data Carpentry Workshop Aug 27 – 28, 2018

Hands-on workshop teaches basic data concepts, skills and tools

UW-Madison Advanced Computing Initiative is hosting a Data Carpentry Workshop on Monday, August 27 and Tuesday, August 28 from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.  Data Carpentry workshops are for any researcher who has data they want to analyze, and no prior computational experience is required.  Data Carpentry lessons are domain specific, building on learners’ existing knowledge to enable them to quickly apply skills learned to their own research.
Who: UW-Madison-affiliated students, faculty, staff, and other researchers.
Where: Orchard Room, Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, 330 N. Orchard St.
When: August 27 – 28, 2018.
