Acquisition of Innovive Ventilated Racks

Description:

This project procures ventilated racks to continue to meet the growing needs of UW investigators using rodent models in their research.

The Innovive ventilated rack system provides a clean, HEPA-filtered environment and facilitates transporting animals across campus seamlessly as it employs disposable caging.

The Biomedical Research Model Services Rodent Breeding Core is essential to research across campus. BRMS services reduce the burden in individual labs by offering expertise in animal models, genetics, procedure techniques and study design, allowing labs to focus on their research rather than colony management.
