Sustainability Hub Joins OVCR as Part of Strategic Framework Development
In the coming months the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR) will continue to share changes in its structure, as the office evolves to better support university research and enhance services for our research community. Read more about the OVCR reorganization here.
At this time, the OVCR is announcing that as part of that effort, the Sustainability Research Hub team will relocate this summer from the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies to the OVCR.
As part of this transition, the Hub will provide proposal development support more broadly for campus researchers pursuing large, interdisciplinary grants.
The Hub currently supports faculty and staff interested in sustainability-related research by facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration, identifying funding opportunities, and delivering comprehensive proposal development support. Integrating these resources within the OVCR represents an important first step towards establishing a campus-level Research Development Office.
Investigators currently working with the Hub will experience no interruption in services. Additional updates will be shared with the research community as the Research Development Office evolves in the coming months.
