UW–Madison faculty and staff recipients of Fall Research Competition awards say they are thankful for the funding to help them acquire the resources they need. But perhaps most important, they say, is the student support they are able to provide thanks to the funding.

Leadership During the Pandemic: States with Women Governors Had Fewer COVID-19 Deaths

In addition, there was a significant interaction between governor gender and issuance of an early stay-at-home order: states with women governors who issued an early stay-at-home order had fewer COVID-19 deaths compared to states with men governors who issued the same order.

Groundwater Research Funding Available
